First race of the season one week from today! I can't wait, it is going to be a blast.

Rode the entire outer loop and connector trail of the south kettles yesterday and had my ass handed to me. It was a great ride and a blast. My back failed me as my legs did, but it will be better next time.

I'm getting ready, my bike will be together shortly. Thanks to one of my work mates I am going to have a sweet single speed wheel.

Finally my single speed hub shipped yesterday. Hopefully it arrives this week so it can get built and I can really experience a functioning single speed set up. I am super excited to ride a single speed. I will post some pics once it gets here.

It's snowing! These are the days when I wish I had a cross bike. I would love to be riding at Lapham while it is snowing.

Not real happy with the place I ordered my hub from. No word yet on if it has even shipped. I know I will get it at some point I know, but I am very impatient when it comes to bike parts. Now I just need to get out and ride, clear my head and sooth the soul. Maybe some fresh ink wouldn't hurt either.

Hopefully my single speed hub ships today. I need to get that together so I can decide if I am going to race single or geared. I tried riding yesterday with out shifting, had my bike in a 32/17 gear and it kicked my butt. I started shifting since I had the gears and my heart rate was through the roof from the get go. I want to ride a real single set up to see if it is any different.
